Joyful Hearts and Happy Tummies: Kindergarten’s 1st Quarter Honor Roll Treat

On October 17, 2025, the Kindergarten Department celebrated its much-awaited 1st Quarter Honor Roll Treat, a fun-filled day dedicated to rewarding the students for their hard work and achievements during the first quarter. The day was packed with laughter, teamwork, and excitement as the young learners enjoyed games, treats, and surprises prepared by the Kindergarten Teachers.

The morning began with energetic exercises and dancing, setting the perfect tone for a day of fun. From 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the Kindergarteners played four exciting games led by their teachers.

The first game, Stand the Bottle Relay, was led by Ms. Phanna, where students were divided into two teams: the Apple Team (Martin, Alyssa, Hosanna, Jasmine, Elsie, and Daniel) and the Strawberry Team (Xinyue, Manna, Ziyi, Thiva, Grace, Mazel, and Olivia). The competition was close, but the Apple Team stood tall and claimed the win.

Next came Balloon Relay, facilitated by Teacher Thi Thi, where the same teams raced once more. The Apple Team showed great coordination and secured another victory. The excitement continued with the Mini Obstacle Race, led by Teacher Khon, where the Strawberry Team bounced back and joyfully took the win.

For the final round, Teacher Heather introduced the Color Hunt Relay, with three new groups: Blue Team (Mazel, Elsie, Ziyi, Manna, Hosanna), Green Team (Daniel, Xinyue, Alyssa, Olivia), and Yellow Team (Grace, Jasmine, Martin, Thiva). The students eagerly searched for colors around the area, and in the end, the Yellow Team finished first.

The morning ended with cheerful smiles and happy hearts as everyone enjoyed prizes and treats. The fun didn’t stop there. After lunch, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Kindergarteners had a cozy movie time complete with popcorn and fruit drinks, filling the afternoon with giggles and excitement.

The 1st Quarter Honor Roll Treat Day was truly a joyful celebration of effort, friendship, and fun, proving once again that learning and fun go hand in hand in the Kindergarten Department!
