Beyond Borders, Beyond Limits: A World Within Your Reach
Another remarkable celebration unfolded at SIA as the school community came together for the much-anticipated International Cultural Festival 2026. This year’s theme, “Beyond Borders, Beyond Limits: A World Within Your Reach,” beautifully captured the spirit of unity, diversity, and global understanding that filled the campus for two meaningful days.
Students and teachers representing different nationalities and cultures joined hands in celebrating traditions, heritage, and ethnicity—proving once again that there is truly unity in diversity. The entire SIA community prepared an engaging two-day event filled with cultural discoveries, exciting trivia challenges, and interactive activities that allowed everyone to experience the beauty of nations around the world.

The celebration began with a special chapel led by Mr. Jon Ames, who shared a powerful message about going the extra mile—challenging everyone to go beyond borders and reach the world for Christ. His words encouraged students and teachers alike to expand their horizons, not only geographically but also spiritually and culturally.
Following the chapel, Mr. Jef energized the crowd with an exciting icebreaker activity. The entire court buzzed with movement as participants joined a treasure hunt, searching for stamps and unlocking golden tickets at different stations. Laughter echoed, teamwork strengthened, and enthusiasm grew as everyone prepared for one of the festival’s highlights—the Parade of Nations.

Cheers filled the air as students confidently stepped onto the stage in their vibrant traditional costumes. Each participant proudly represented their chosen country, showcasing unique designs, colors, and cultural identity. The Parade of Nations truly placed everyone in the spotlight, turning the stage into a living display of global heritage.

The first day concluded with the thrilling “Around the World” Trivia Game, where participants demonstrated impressive knowledge of historical and geographical facts from across the globe. Teams were creatively grouped into four hemispheres: The Red Fox of the East, The Abyssal Shark, South Claw Jaguars, and The Sasquatch. Friendly competition, quick thinking, and teamwork made the event both educational and entertaining.
And this was only the beginning.
With excitement still in the air and hearts eager for more, the SIA community looks forward to Day 2—where even more cultural experiences, meaningful connections, and unforgettable memories await. Truly, this festival reminds us that when we go beyond borders, we discover that the world is closer—and more connected—than we think.
