SIA Christmas Musical Program 2025

Continuing the Christmas celebration, the SIA community was delighted to witness a special Christmas musical entitled All Aboard the Christmas Express. The musical was originally written by SIA’s Kindergarten Head Teacher, Ms. Heather Espelico, and directed by Ms. Espelico together with SIA alumnus and teacher, Mr. Timothy Kim. The production was further refined with the guidance and support of the school’s education consultant, Mr. Daniel Lim.

Through music, movement, and storytelling, the musical brought the message of Christmas to life and invited the audience to embark on a symbolic journey toward the true meaning of the season. The performance creatively reminded everyone that Christmas is not merely about festivities, but about celebrating God’s greatest gift—Jesus Christ. Students delivered engaging performances and heartfelt songs that portrayed a joyful train ride centered on faith, kindness, and hope. Each scene was presented with confidence and enthusiasm, capturing the attention and hearts of the audience and reinforcing the message of Christ’s love.

The musical also highlighted the creativity, dedication, and teamwork of the SIA community. Behind the scenes, teachers and students worked together to ensure the success of the program. On stage, the Kindergarten students delighted the audience with their musical numbers, the Elementary students beautifully depicted the Nativity scene, the Middle School students presented a meaningful role-play, and the High School Department delivered a powerful hand-mime presentation that became one of the highlights of the program. From colorful costumes to expressive choreography, every detail reflected thoughtful preparation and sincere effort.

As the final number concluded, the message of the musical resonated clearly: everyone is invited to hop aboard the Christmas Express and journey toward love, generosity, and faith. The performance served not only as entertainment, but also as a meaningful expression of worship and thanksgiving.

The program continued with a time of worship led by the SIA Worship Team under the leadership of Mr. Timothy Kim. This was followed by the sharing of the Christmas message by the school chaplain, Mr. Jon Ames. The event concluded with a closing prayer led by the School Administrator, Mr. Paul Lim, who earnestly prayed for Cambodia amid the ongoing border tensions, reminding the community to keep those affected in their prayers during the Christmas season.

As All Aboard the Christmas Express came to an end, it left the SIA community with a lasting reminder that the true meaning of Christmas is found in Christ’s love. Through the students’ sincere performances, a message of hope, joy, and unity was shared. May the spirit of Christmas continue to inspire the SIA community to love, give, and serve as we journey through the season and beyond.
