Stepping Stone International Academy’s curriculum is based on an American academic curriculum called Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) which is a Bible-based, Christian K–12 curriculum, consisting of reading programs, core curriculum, required electives, and additional instruction programs. Some courses are enhanced with CDs, DVDs, and computer software.
The core curriculum of SIA provides students with academics, skill building, reading practice, character and wisdom training, and knowledge of God and His Word. It is a complete package that begins with reading development that progress through high school, giving students a solid foundation for pursuing their life goals.
ACE is both accelerated and individualized. Accelerated education means that learning fits the ability and intellectual of the Individual. Individualized education aims on developing the individual strengths and address their weaknesses. Both these concepts acknowledge the uniqueness of a child, their varied backgrounds, abilities, talents, failures and successes and education which allows a child to reach his full potential.

We believe there is no way to know an individual’s potential until he is challenged on an individual basis. In a classroom utilizing the ACE Program the individual ability of each child is carefully considered and his individual potential is carefully nourished. Many schools screen out under achievers but the ACE’s Individualized program of learning motivates these students to become high achievers. Students who are more skilled may progress at a faster rate or may accelerate in the areas of their academic strengths. Slower students are encouraged to do their best but are able to work at their levels of proficiency and proceed as they are capable.
Each core subject consists of 12 PACEs (Packet of Accelerated Christian Education) per level. Typical students work daily on one PACE in each subject and may be performing at varying levels. The diagnostic test results help to identify academic weaknesses and prescribe a path to help students catch up. Most students complete at least 70 PACEs per year, while maintaining academic balance by completing about the same number of PACEs in each assigned subject.
